A dog and cat friendly restaurant. Services was exceptionally good, polite and professional, and friendly throughout. Small menu, but it was very nicely put together, and obviously they specialise in what they do best. Food was very very good, huge portion, the pork cutlet is a must try, thick cut pork loin, value for money, and you definitely won't feel hungry afterwards. Definitely will be back sooner and highly recommended to anyone.

We come across the cafe and had the lunch. Though the cafe is not very big we found it is cozy. The waiter was so friendly and nice. We ordered the Japanese curry with dip fired pork and pumpkin croquette. This food is so tasty but personally would like it a bit more seasoned. However the highlight is egg omelette. It is so soft and creamy!! Highly recommend.

First time visiting and we’re amazed by the delicious food and nice atmosphere here. It’s hard to find authentic katsu nearby as most of the restaurants offer katsu chicken, but Mogumogu offers real katsu (fried pork cutlets) which is so amazing! Definitely will return and recommend to friends.

We came here and it was packed so they suggested us to book and come for next day. The process for booking through Instagram DM was smooth and quite fast (really love their personalised stickers)! We came next day and our table was ready for 4 with a jug of water! We really love the Tofu appetizer!!! It’s a must try from us! And then we ordered both Unagi from the seasonal menu and the Katsu! It was good, not much to say. Then we also ordered their Hojicha latter with oat milk and it was the best thing compare to the mocha! And we also ordered their cat milky pudding and the hojicha cheesecake. I would say it’s their speciality! So if you ever come please make sure booking 24 hours because the place is really tight and must try their Tofu, Hojicha drink, and their desserts!!!!

100% a new regular for myself and my partner. This was the most beautiful, adorable experience The food was great with great normal and vegan options ! Drink are plenty and the latte art is so cute and fun. Staff were always busy yet attentive. I would give 100 review They have handmade crafts on the shelf to look at, wall art and hints of personalised adorableness within all corners of the patite cafe, without feeling overwhelming. So cute! Edit! It is a super small cafe, so dont expect to be a big group (4 max, in my op). You'll be seated at a table when available. Otherwise there is a bench inside and they will seat you at a table when available. Be mindful of others in the space ^^

Amazing food and service! The Matcha latte was the best I ever had and the katsu don was delicious and super filling. We also got this cat mousse dessert which was just as delicious as cute! Highly recommend and the prices are very fair for the quality

Really enjoyed our meal here. The Japanese curry pork chop rice was rich and comforting, with a crispy pork cutlet that stayed crunchy even with the sauce. The pork chop with silky scrambled egg was another highlight – super smooth eggs and really well-seasoned. We also tried the beef tartare, which was fresh, well balanced and nicely presented – not something you see everywhere, so a pleasant surprise. Desserts were great too. Both the matcha pudding and milk tea pudding were smooth, not overly sweet, and very satisfying. To finish off, the sea salt caramel latte was excellent – well balanced, not too sweet, and definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. Overall, great food quality and a really enjoyable experience. Would happily come back again.

I lost track of how many times we've been to Mogu Mogu, it's definitely one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Brighton if not my favourite! When something is so good you almost feel that you don't want to share it in case it gets spoilt, but these guys deserve the recognition. We have tried almost everything in the menu and it's absolutely delicious. The most moist kaarage chicken we had outside Japan, the pork cutlet is also juicy and crunchy. Top two dishes on the menu for us. The cat pudding is so cute but tasty and light plus one of the owners is incredibly talented and the miniature artwork displayed around that restaurant is simple kawaii! If you like cats, you will love this place, guaranteed
